Monterey & The Movies

The sights and sounds of Hollywood aboard the Monterey Movie bus, you’ll see famous Hollywood movie sights in Monterey, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach and Carmel. Roaring Camp

Travel through Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, down the scenic San Lorenzo River Gorge, across a 1909 steel truss bridge and through a 1875 tunnel aboard this train. Arrive Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk where your motorcoach will greet you and take you to the Crow's Nest restaurant for a private luncheon in the Harbor Room overlooking the Santa Cruz Harbor and Monterey Bay. Then onto Watsonville where you will tour the Antonelli Brother's Begonia Gardens.

Bottle Your Own Red Wine

Plan a private bottle your own event or join an event open to the public. Your group will experience a fascinating piece of California history while visiting the historic Guglielmo Winery in Morgan Hill. Public events offer, 1 bottle of red wine per person to take home, food and entertainment or schedule a private event and bottle a barrel for your group to take home, approx. 6 bottles each!

Olives & Cheese

Visit the beautiful Glen Ellen/Sonoma area where you will tour and taste your way around town. Stop at the Oil Press and learn how oil is made and enjoy a sampling of different flavored oils with breads for dipping. Visit any time of year but if you visit from late Oct. to mid January you may just see the press in use! Then onto Sonoma Cheese Factory for a cheese tasting and picnic lunch.

Oakland's Paramount Theatre and Jack London Square

Tour one of the finest remaining examples of Art Deco design in the United States. This behind the scenes docent lead tour will give your group an interesting look at architecture, design and history from the glory days of the 30's to years of neglect and total restoration. Then onto Jack London Square for lunch at Scott's or Kincaid's and time for a stroll.

Marvel at nature’s beauty, enjoy the scenic CA Hwy1 drive, visit Audubon Canyon Ranch, Bolinas Lagoon Preserve, this 1000-acre wildlife sanctuary encompasses a rich mosaic of natural communities. Discover Benicia 

Experience the charm of this friendly waterfront community. A breathtaking view of the Carquinez Straits plays an important role in Benicia's considerable charm. Rich in California history this town offers over 30 historical points of interest. Enjoy a docent lead tour of Benicia Glass Studios a working glass blowing factory, lunch at a restaurant named after it's historical owner, Captain Blyther's and time to enjoy the many antique shops and other points of interest along the way. This tour is limited to a maximum of 40 passengers.

Marshall’s Farm

Come visit the flying Bee Ranch for a fascinating look at the hand-crafted approach to traditional honey production. The group will view a short film and then Beekeeper, Spencer Marshall will guide you through the farm and the honey making process, including a visit to “The Honey House” where the honey is extracted and bottled. He’ll share fun facts about bees and honey production and you’ll enjoy food pairings with tasty fresh honey and a visit to the darling country store. Your group will be buzzing with excitement on this trip! Your group may picnic at the farm or add on a group luncheon.

Castello di Amorosa & V. Sattui Winery

Aviation History

Come explore Hiller Aviation Museum. The Hiller Aviation institute is dedicated to the dreams of flight, looking back into aviation history and exploring the future. The experience is educational and entertaining casting new light onto the technical innovations. Before your group leaves they be transformed from visitor to explorer. At a hosted group luncheon served family style at Max’s Restaurant the group will explore SFO with a guided tour of the international terminal, a ride on the air train, and visit to the museum and aviation library.

Come take a tour and follow the path from fleece to fiber to yarn to elegant cashmere knitwear. Learn how cashmere is harvested, graded, sorted and dehaired with an up close look at the animals and analysis of the fleece and fiber. Finally a visit to the Ironstone Vineyards for a guided tour of the aging wine caverns, gardens and lakeside park, culinary exhibits, amplitheatre, Alhambra Music Room including the Theatre Pipe Organ, Heritage Museum and jewelry shop. The visit to the winery will include wine tasting with canapés and a private group luncheon.
